Alo Expands Reach, Adding New Avance Care Practices in North Carolina
Avance Care RTP becomes 34th Alo-affiliated practice, while Avance Care Waxhaw becomes the 35th.
As Alo continues to expand its thriving ecosystem of independent healthcare practices offering a better patient experience, reduced provider burden, and enhanced clinical outcomes, the company is proud to announce the opening of the 34th and 35th locations in North Carolina operating under the Avance Care banner. These new practices further solidify Alo’s commitment to helping physicians and their patients thrive.
Avance Care RTP officially opened its doors December 4, serving South Durham and the Research Triangle Park area. Avance Care Waxhaw has followed, opening February 1, serving communities in the South Charlotte region.
Avance Care RTP is led by Rashaud Senior, MD, Hita Abrams, PA-C, and Amy Hird, PA-C. Abrams and Hird are long-time healthcare professionals in the RTP area. Abrams says, “[Amy and I] have worked together for over a decade, building wonderful patient relationships in this community. I'm grateful to be able to continue supporting this community as an Avance Care business owner.” The clinic celebrated its debut with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Jan. 31.
Avance Care Waxhaw is led by Jeffrey Hutchings, MD, MBA, a longtime Charlotte family physician. The Waxhaw team is rounded out by Mackenzie Coleman, PA-C, Katie Laney, LCSW, LISW-CP, LCAS, and Jovanna Orozco, MS, RDN, LDN. The Waxhaw team is planning a Grand Opening ribbon cutting ceremony on February 29.
